How to select right cell phone?
Nowadays, we choose our new cell phone, as usually, on the basis of interior design and the contract offer of our network provider. Here is the some of the most important features that should be checked when choosing the new mobile phone:
On the basis of its main functional orientation, all mobile phones could be easily divided by three categories: camera phone, music phone, and internet phone. So, the most important features are based on these functions.
The Camera phone
Cameras used in the mobile phones are differentiated by the matrix resolution measured in megapixels (it could vary from 0.3Mpx to 12Mpx). The higher resolution is equal to the higher quality of the photos. Photos taken by cameras with the resolution less than 2 Mpx could not be used for printing due to low quality. Adjacent to the camera resolution characteristics important for the camera phone are the presence of the flash, stabilizers, auto-focusing, images manipulation software and so on.
MP3 player
Almost every cell phone today has the MP3 player built in. The main differentiating factor is its simplicity of controls. Also, not every cell phone has an equalizer, play list organization feature and so on. The same is also true for cell phone’s FM-receivers.
Internet access
Internet becomes not only important but necessary feature of the cell phone for modern people. Most phones has an internet access, but you should look for more advanced connection capabilities (EDGE, 3G, Wi-Max and so on). Also, different cell phones has a different software installed on it for using of internet — e-mail clients, instant messangers, social networks (such as Facebook) clients and other. Check the cell phones with software you need.
Wireless connectivity
Despite of phone type your choose, camera phone, music phone, or internet phone, you should look for connectivity technologies such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. First technology is needed for headset and car kit connection, files exchange with PCs and other phones and PDAs. The second one would be useful for connecting to the internet at public places.
Memory card slot
Memory card slot and (or) large inner memory (more than 1 Gb) is a critical for a modern mobile phone — you should have a room for your photos, music, documents, games and so on! The more memory phone have is better!
